Cogolls
Cogolls is a village belonging to the municipality of Les Planes d´Hostoles, between Santa Coloma de Farners and Olot. In the center of Cogolls is the church, the school and the rectory, the rest of the village is scattered.

Emphasize the Romanesque church of Sant Cristòfol of Cogolls of the tenth century and the church of Sant Pelegrí from the nineteenth century. Originally, the Romanesque church was only one nave with a semicircular apse.

A sacristy were added later, some chapels and side altars about: Rosario, Santa Magdalena, San Isidro and Saints John the Evangelist and Baptist. The altarpiece is adapted to the curved shape of the apse, entirely of wood, like the rococo late eighteenth century.

Under the porch facade highlights the threshold of 1753 and the upper niche where is inserted the image of St. Christopher.

Shortly before reaching Cogolls parish is the church of San Pelegri, erected in 1862, which was shortly after was added a second dedication to a long tradition in the region, the Saint Grau.

But surely the most interesting part of this village is not the architecture but a hidden corner of nature.
