Our flight to Tenerife leaves in the afternoon from the Valencia airport, so we take advantage of this to visit the City of Arts complex and some of the most important buildings in the historic center.
Integrated in the beautiful valley of La Orotava, is located the Loro Parque. In its more than 13 hectares you can get in touch with the most exotic representatives of nature: penguins, dolphins, sea lions, parrots, tigers, ...
After landing on the island of La Palma we go to El Paso, and from there we ascend to La Cumbrecita, a viewpoint located on the south side of the Caldera de Taburiente. In the afternoon we visit the Teneguía volcano area.
Route through the north of the island of La Palma, starting in Tijarafe, climbing to El Roque de los muchachos, the highest point of the Caldera de Taburiente National Park, and ending in the east, in Los Sauces.
Before returning to the island of Tenerife we visited Tazacorte, Los Llanos de Aridane and Santa Cruz de La Palma, with its steep streets, its picturesque and crowded Calle Real and its promenade.
We start the morning visiting the valley of La Orotava, to continue climbing up to the Teide National Park, where we climbed practically the summit with a cable car and visited the area of Las Cañadas del Teide.
After visiting the thousand-year-old dragon tree of Icod de los vinos, we descend through the Masca ravine. There a boat takes us to the port, offering wonderful views of the Cliff of the Giants.
In the few hours we have before going to the airport, we take the opportunity to walk along the promenade of Puerto de la Cruz, through its Botanical Garden and the Taoro Park.
