Singapore welcomed us with the Rain Vortex at Jewel Changi Airport. We travelled by MRT to Chinatown, where our first evening ended with views of Marina Bay and the illuminated skyline.

Buddha Tooth Relic Temple

Chinatown preserves Singapore's Chinese heritage through historic shophouses, temples and traditional markets. We explored its streets before tasting local cuisine at Hawker Chan.

Marina Bay represents modern Singapore with Marina Bay Sands, the SkyPark Observation Deck and panoramic views of the skyline, harbour and shipping lanes across the bay.

Little India

Little India preserves Singapore's Indian heritage with colourful streets, Hindu temples, Buddhist sanctuaries and traditional shops reflecting the district's multicultural history.

Arab Quarter

Kampong Glam combines the Sultan Mosque, Arab Street, Haji Lane and colourful street art. The district reflects Singapore's Arab and Malay trading heritage through its preserved shophouses.

Merlion

Downtown Singapore links colonial landmarks with Marina Bay. We walked past Raffles Hotel, the Merlion, Helix Bridge and the ArtScience Museum before returning to the gardens.

Gardens by the Bay

Gardens by the Bay combines Supertrees, glass conservatories and landscaped gardens. We returned to enjoy the Garden Rhapsody show before watching Spectra across Marina Bay.
