This erosion has resulted in thousands of bizarre and fragile formations of rock in several shades of pink, white, yellow and red, was given this name to the park in honor of Ebenezer Bryce, a farmer who was the Mormon first inhabitant of the modern era in the region. The park is located about 410 kms (270 miles) south of Salt Lake City. It is 125 kms (85 miles) northeast of Zion National Park.
