(in 5 Km) After lunch we will relax for a while and take a bath at the beach of La Pelosa, one of the most beautiful beaches of Sardinia and perhaps of all Italy. Because of its beauty, the beach is very crowded.

To us, even go to her in the month of May, we struggled to find a parking (fee). The Pelosa Beach noted for its fine white sand contrasting with the different hues of its waters, including turquoise. The water is very clean and clear.

The beach, located northwest of downtown Stintino, is protected from the open sea by the island Piana, behind which lies the island National Park dell´Asinara. This favors that the waters of this beach are very quiet.

Towards Capo Falcone is the Torre de La Pelosa, an Aragonese tower located on a small island that can be reached by walking along the water. This is a tower built in 1578 to defend the coast. Frustoconical shaped, a base diameter of 16 meters, a height of 10 meters and the thickness of the perimeter wall approximately 2.5 meters wide.
