We have a 12-hour stopover that we take for a walk through the center of London, visiting places like Trafalgar Square, Westminster or the Tower of London.
We spent our first days in Chile in the north of the country, in the Atacama desert, the most dry desert in the world. We also visited the Tatio Geyser, the Valley of the Moon or the open air mine of Cuquicamata.
In the center of the country we visited relatives, as well as doing a tour to the capital and an excursion to the coast, in Isla Negra where Pablo Neruda´s house is located and the city of Valparaiso.
First visit to the region of the lakes, in the area around the Villarrica volcano, the beautiful Ojos del Caburgua and a circular excursion along the so-called route of the seven lakes.
We depart by plane to the Patagonian region to enjoy an excursion we have hired to visit the glacier of San Rafael lagoon and a Patagonian barbecue on Lake Elizalde.
We return to the region of the lakes to visit the Puyehue N.P., the island of Chiloé and travel a section of the Andean crossing, through the Lake of All Saints, to Peulla.
We finish in the Magellan region, visiting the Torres del Paine National Park, the Perito Moreno in Argentina, and a penguin colony along the Strait of Magellan.
